Mark Beatty: A magician, educator, and professional bird handler.
Description of programs: Each program is colorful, highly visual and filled with comedy and audience interaction. Each self-contained stage presentation includes: three or four performing Macaws, portable stage (6'w x 3 1/2'h), professional sound system with cordless mic & music, teacher materials and student handouts.
Parrots of the Rain Forest
With the help of our explorer, his feathered companions and a little imagination, the audience is transported to the Canopy layer of the Rain Forest. We learn to:
• Respect and appreciate animals, their environment, other people and their diversity.
• Respect and appreciate who we are and what we can become.
Sailor Days & Sailor Ways
Captain Marcus, our 17th century privateer, and his parrot shipmates combine to captivate the audience and instill the messages:
