Chris Fascione: Now in his 18th season, he is a Chicago-based professional actor and storyteller. Chris received his B.A. in Theater Arts from Connecticut College and the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. Chris worked with several different children's theaters from New York to Washington state prior to developing his current one-man show. Chris continually delights audiences nationally, from New England to California, with his imaginative literary storytelling.
Description of programs: Bringing literature to life and bringing children to literature is the motive of Chris Fascione's engaging performance. Chris uses his special talents to unlock the secrets of what makes good literature so appealing. Using a unique combination of storytelling, acting, mime, clowning, comedy, and a dash of juggling, Chris' performances stimulate children's imaginations to bring literature to life!
Each fun-filled, high-spirited, participatory show presents a variety of literary styles and includes many different cultures. (All new stories for repeat bookings!) Each presentation is designed to promote recreational reading and an active interest in books.
