Sharon Diskin: A member of the famed mime theatre duo, The Chameleons. The Chameleons have performed their highly acclaimed programs for over 1 million children and adults all over the world. A gifted teacher as well as performer, Diskin has taught workshops and master classes in Physical Theatre and Mime throughout the U.S., including Cornell University, The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, The Disney Animation Studios as well as various cultural institutions in Europe and Asia. She is a master teaching artist with The L.A. Music Center and The Orange County Performing Arts Center. She was honored with the prestigious PASA award for her excellence as a professional artist in the schools, presented by the The California Arts Council, the California Department of Education, and The L.A. Music Center.
Beth Sussman: Received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from The Juilliard School by the age of 21 where she was granted a full scholarship. She has performed throughout Europe and North America s a soloist and chamber musician. Sussman is a master teaching artist at The Orange County Performing Arts Center and offers workshops and residencies through The Los Angeles Music Center. She also can be heard as a pre-concert lecturer at the new Segestrom Hall at The Orange County Performing Arts Center for the Philharmonic Society of Orange County.

A Classical Blast of Mime and Music (featuring Peter and the Wolf)
An enchanting assembly program created and performed by internationally acclaimed mime artist, Sharon Diskin, and Juilliard-trained classical pianist, Beth Sussman. This very unique entertainment combines the joys of classical music with the magic of mime to excite the imagination, fill the senses, and stimulate thought. Discover thrilling works by Mozart, Debussy, Mendelssohn and Prokofiev’s beloved “Peter & The Wolf”, along with their language arts connections, as you are treated to hysterical physical theatre combined with brilliant piano playing.
