Earthcapades: Unique, memorable, and exciting performances that combine juggling, music, circus skills, storytelling, comedy, and audience participation to teach environmental science and respect for the Earth. Since 1996 EarthCapades has performed at festivals, theaters, and in thousands of schools from coast-to-coast. EarthCapades was born out of Co-Directors Lissin & Hearty’s deep commitment to protecting and respecting the Earth, and their love of fun. In 2003 EarthCapades expanded to include another team of top notch performers under Lissin & Hearty’s leadership. Today there are 5 dynamic teams of “EarthCapaders” performing across the country and reaching over 100,000 students and teachers every year.
Description of programs: Unique and memorable programs teach ecology and earth science while educating about conserving natural resources, eliminating pollution and reducing waste. Juggling, magic, music and comedy are skillfully woven with learning to enthrall audiences of all ages.
