The Fairy Godmothers

Denise Power: A magician, songwriter and original lyricist. Denise is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and has peformed for the children of Hollywood's famous and not so famous, at multiple city and private events, the Rose Parade, and Amtrak's On-board Children's Entertainment Program.

Sandy Walker: A musician, songwriter and original lyricist. Sandy is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a degree in music. She is the bass-playing bandleader of the all-female rock band "The California Girls, which has toured all over the world. Sandy has performed her children's shows for schools and libraries all over Southern California.

Susie Hebets: A popular children's entertainer for over 20 years. Susie is a graduate of Cal Poly University, Pomona with degree in Business.She has entertained the children of Hollywood's famous and not so famous, at multiple city and private events, and Amtrak's On-board Children's Entertainment Program.

Description of programs: A lively stage show that includes:

Educational Topics: Songs and storytelling illustrate topics such as "stranger danger", "recycling", "safety routines, "hygiene, "health issues" and more.

Storytelling and Music: Interactive storytelling that encourages children to identify the message or moral of each story. Songs featuring "Basic earth sciences" and "the importance of differentiating fantasy and reality".

Magic: The fairies perform magic that demonstrates the importance of team work, respect and self-esteem.

Interactive Rhyming and Singing: Sing-a-long, rhyming sequences and call and response singing games that incorporate physical movement.

Grades: preK-6

Other: Family Fun Nights • Library Programs • (Original Songs: The Fairy Godmothers will whip up a memorable musical masterpiece about your school with sufficient advanced booking (two weeks minimum). An additional fee is charged for this service.)
