Michael & Sharon Fogg: Michael and Sharon are dedicated to providing an exciting and educational science experience to people of all ages. They believe that by providing a variety of hands-on science topics, they can build science confidence and inspire people to explore and appreciate new areas of science. They have been bringing hands-on science into schools all over the country for the past 13 years.
Description of programs: Discovering Science has two school wide assemblies to choose from. All of our shows are exciting educational and loaded with audience participation. We want everyone to feel a spark of enthusiasm for science. The Science Magic & Energy Show introduces magic, as water seems to disappear and 50,000 volts of electricity safely passes over five volunteers to light a light bulb at the end. Is it magic or just super cool science? If Biology is your favorite, then experience Not So Dangerous Creatures. Come face to face with some very friendly and misunderstood animals like the Leopard Gecko, Blue Tongue Skink, and giant Albino Burmese Python (all raised in a kindergarten classroom).
