Paul Merklein: A self-taught artist, Paul Merklein travels nationally and performs at many schools and special events. His message is one of inspiration for any age.

Description of program: Great Big Faces celebrates creativity, variety and diversity. The show combines dynamic art and audience participation in the creation of 6-foot tall faces of surprise characters, students and adults using oil paints. Merklein paints while music plays in the background, entertaining both young and old alike. He also talks to students about self-esteem and talent, leaving the message that you can do anything that you want to do.
