Adam Miller: Adam Miller and has enjoyed a twenty-year career making music with children. For over a decade this award winning folksinger and autoharp virtuoso has presented multi-cultural Singing Through History! folk music assemblies at schools and libraries throughout California.
Description of programs: These acclaimed programs aid in the development of cultural and historical literacy, emphasizing the importance of history as a story well told. Students have a great time learning about American folklore and folk traditions while singing along. All programs are designed to encourage group singing and interactivity, and are tailored to be age appropriate for any combination of grades. With over a dozen entertaining assembly programs, Adam can present two different assemblies in a back-to-back booking with no audience maximum. These programs conform to the California HistorySocial Studies and Visual and Performing Arts Frameworks, addressing subjects the students are studying in class.
