Science on the Go: A passion for science, a love for children, and a commitment to education were the elements Carol Flanders combined when the idea for a traveling, ‘hands-on’ science program was conceived in 1975.

“Science on the Go” grew rapidly as the popular programs reached thousands of students in Orange County. As Science on the Go gained an outstanding reputation for excellence in elementary science education, the staff was increased to accommodate the many schools requesting programs.

Each staff member represents the high quality standards and knowledge, presentation skills, and enthusiasm for which “Science on the Go” is known.This insures a unique and successful experience.

Description of programs: Each program provides an hour of attention getting, motivating, fascinating information. Live exhibits, combined with extensive collections, and hands-on materials, enliven the many presentations. Exciting “Science on the Go” units cover the natural, physical, and earth sciences, providing a well balanced science education for your students:

Geology: Prehistoric Life, Volcanoes, Fossils, Geodes

Biomes: Rainforests, Deserts

Physical: Matter, Magnetism, Electricity

Zoology: Insects, Spiders, Amphibians, Reptiles, Birds, Mammals, Fish (Sharks)

Interactive Programs:

Animals all Around (Kindergarten)

The Web of LIfe (1st grade)

Cycle of Life (2nd grade)

Animal Adaptation (3rd grade)

Ecosystems (4th-6th grade)
