Lloyd Bachrach: Yes, You Can!

Lloyd Bachrach: Lloyd was born in 1962 with a congenital bone deficiency which has left his legs unusually small. Lloyd, who grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, did not let his physical challenges slow him down. In fact, Lloyd motivated himself to become an accomplished intercollegiate gymnast and in 1966, he was named to the United States Paralympic Sit Volleyball team. Lloyd has worked with the Chicago Park District's gymnastics program as an instructor and Director of Gymnastics for Therapeutic Recreation. He has also coached high school gymnastics and is nationally certified as a men's gymnastics judge. In addition to his other activities, Lloyd serves as a peer counselor for Families and Amputees in Motion.

Description of programs: Yes, You Can! is an inspirational, motivational and educational program, created by Lloyd Bachrach, to inspire individuals to focus on their ojectives with undaunted determination, confidence and a postive attitude. Lloyd uses his disability to show that if you believe in yourself, you can do anything. Lloyd's unique message of striving for your goals is encourages and motivates listeners of all ages.
