Theresa Minko: Theresa has been bringing the strange and fascinating world of reptiles, amphibians and arachnids to schools since 1988.
Description of programs: The Lizard Wizard program offers students a hands-on look into the fascinating world of reptiles, amphibians and arachnids. It explores the amazing and strange behaviors of 50 animal species (large and small) from around the world. The students will learn many mesmerizing facts and at the same time many myths surrounding these important and intriguing members of the animal kingdom will be dispelled. Information on habitat, diet, care, reproduction, and conservation rounds out the program. By the end of the program, teachers and students alike, armed with a new found appreciation of these colorful and exotic creatures can touch the scales of a python, stroke the spines on an iguana's back, tap the shell of a giant tortoise, tickle the feet of a millipede and more...We guarantee students and staff will be spell bound!
